Pupils' eisteddfod artwork to go on show at church

St Michael’s Church in Pontarddulais will be hosting an exhibition of local pupils’ artwork next week.
The artwork formed part of Pontarddulais Comprehensive School’s eisteddfod for Years 7 and 8 and will be on show next Tuesday (March 11).
Vicar of St Michael’s, Rev’d John Gillibrand, said: “The exhibition came about after I was asked to be one of the judges at the school eisteddfod. The work on display was inspirational and the school was so welcoming, so we decided to welcome them here for an exhibition to celebrate their talent.”
The school is a key partner in the St Michael’s project Calon y Bont, which aims to transform the Pontarddulais church into a hub for community groups.
The exhibition will take place from 12.30-2.30pm and everyone is welcome.
