Holy Communion

At Holy Communion blessed bread and wine is shared, by which we receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The congregation gives thanks for Jesus’ life, his death and resurrection and his continuing presence. See also Eucharist.

I am sure that you have heard the worrying news concerning the health of Her Majesty the Queen. We offer her along with her family our sincere prayers at this time along with our best wishes.

Almighty God, the fountain of all goodness,
we humbly beseech thee to bless our Sovereign Lady,
Queen Elizabeth and all the Royal Family;
endue them with thy Holy Spirit,
enrich them with thy heavenly grace,
prosper them with all happiness,
and bring them to thine everlasting kingdom,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
