Mothers' Union branches gather for diocesan festival

Mothers' Union branches from across the diocese gathered at Brecon Cathedral this afternoon for their annual festival.

It was the first time the service has been held since 2019 because of the pandemic and was led by Bishop John.

Ruth Roberts was commissioned as diocesan president and Rev'd Tim Williams as diocesan chaplain. Jill McPherson (Gower) and Ella Thomas (Brecon) were commissioned as vice presidents and Jeanne Hughes, Moira Bibby, Ailsa Howell and Alison Lawrence were commissioned as trustees.
