Meet cathedral project team at open day

Brecon Cathedral will be holding a third open day presentation about its exciting National Heritage Lottery Fund project bid next month.

The presentation, on Tuesday 7th May at the Y Gaer Meeting Rooms at 1pm, with a chance to talk to the project team until 3pm. The project will include re-roofing half of the cathedral that is badly in need of repair and, as part of this, apprenticeships will be created to train in heritage roofing skills. Disabled access will also be improved to ensure access for all, and the interior furnishings are being reviewed to allow more flexible use of space for future sustainability.
