'Amazing' multi-faith day at Clyro school
Clyro Church in Wales Primary School has held a multi-faith day, giving pupils the opportunity to learn about other religions.
There were workshops exploring Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Islam and visitors included Bishop John, headteachers, Powys County Council’s school improvement advisor and MS James Evans.
Headteacher Sarah Groves said: “We are having lots of workshops, the children are getting to experience some amazing things.
“The inspiration behind the day has been that we have had multi-faith days in the past and with the new Curriculum for Wales and the religion, values and ethics strand, we wanted to incorporate creativity for our spring term within looking at different religions and faiths.”
