The Climate Sunday campaign begins this weekend, the first Sunday in the annual season of Creationtide.The year-long campaign, ahead of the COP26 climate meeting in 2021, organised by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, with support from charities including CAFOD, Christian Aid, Tearfund, A Rocha UK, and Operation Noah.As part of the campaign, Bishop’s Officer for World Mission Rev Rana Khan has interviewed Mark Watts, the Executive Director at C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.C40 is a global leadership organization working to deliver the urgent action needed to confront the climate crisis and create a future where everyone can thrive. Our network is made up of nearly 100 of the world’s biggest, most influential cities, representing 700+ million citizens and one quarter of the global economy.
