The diocese's first resource church, St Thomas' in Swansea, is looking for people to join its team aiming to re-evangelise the city.Over the past eight years it has gone from a church with poor prospects and a declining attendance to a church with a city-wide reputation for its determination to transform the lives of others. It is now a growing and thriving church with a social outreach ministry reaching beyond the east side of Swansea. In 2021 it completed a £1.5m refurbishment project to revive the church and transform the church building into a community hub. It has now been appointed as the first diocesan resource church, to play its part in the re-evangelisation of the city, the revitalisation of the church and transformation of society.
