Gower Ministry Area's new Lay Worship Leaders have been commissioned at a special service.Darran Hickery, Jinny Rowles, Pam Dennis, Pam Meakins, Veronica Shenstone, Carrie Richards, John David and Susan Medwell were commissioned by Gower Ministry Area Leader Rev'd Justin Davies at the service at St David's on the Marsh in North Gower. Guest preacher was Mandy Bayton, Bishop's Officer for Evangelism and Outreach.David Ball, a Lay Reader, was also recognised for achieving a 1st class degree in theology.Canon Peter Brooks, Area Dean of Greater Gower Deanery, said: "Our thanks to all involved and our congratulations go to the new Lay Worship Leaders who have been called to serve on Gower. May God bless them as they continue their work of service to the Ministry Area of Gower."
