Llanhamlach Church Committee has applied for planning permission for a toilet building at the church, to provide better facilities for worshippers and visitors.
Following favourable consideration of a faculty application by the Diocesan Advisory Committee, a formal planning application for a toilet building in Llanhamlach Churchyard was validated by the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority this month.
Dr Mervyn Bramley, the church treasurer, said: “We need better facilities for people coming to the church or visiting the churchyard. We have a historic church in a beautiful location so we have done our best to propose a building that fits in with the site.”
The application is open for public comment until 11 April 2018. The faculty application was advertised locally.
The planning application can be viewed on the National Park’s planning portal.
