Three Cliffs parish held a ‘Big Brekkie’ event in aid of Christian Aid at the vicarage in Pennard following on from the Wednesday morning midweek service.
There were no bacon butties or black pudding in sight…but it was coffee and croissants and to aid the continental illusion people were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and chat to each and make new acquaintances.
All a world away from the places where Christian Aid money is needed the most but a reminder to all of us that coming together to share in food and fellowship is a way to help others in any way that we can is all part of our ongoing Christian service.
The event was organised as part of a wider range of events put on by the Gower Ministry Area this year to raise the awareness of Christian Aid.
